The Future presents... Class of 2011 & 2012 (players to keep in mind)

2011

(Most talent since 2007 class which was one of the best ever)

1.LaQuinton Ross 6-8 200 SW MS
Tracy McGrady type. Is the next big thing baring injuries and work ethic. Side note, is it me or is all the best players from Mississippi tall and able to go straight to the league i.e. Monte Ellis, Al Jefferson, Renardo Sidney, Travis Outlaw, Jackie Butler?!

2.Austin Rivers 6-4 180 PG FL
At best he'll be Deron Williams at worst he'll be Jordan Farmar, either way he's a starting pro!

3.Trevor Lacey 6-4 190 PG AL
Randy Livingston (in his youth) clone is the next great from Alabama. Averaged 23p-7r-5a 50% fg as a fr.!!!

4.Damien Leonard 6-4 175 G SC
Top tier everything from his athleticism, to speed, to handles, to jumper, to even his range which starts as soon as he crosses the half-court line. These tools makes him almost impossible to stop which explains why he stays between the 30's-50's as far as points are concerned.

5.DeLante "Bishop" Daniels 6-3 180 G NC
Has a reported 44-inch vert., a very consistent jumper, along with his one-on-one wizardry makes guarding him seem comical.

6.Mike Gbinije 6-6 180 G VA
Athleticism and skills are similar to Penny Hardaway!

7.Kevin Ware 6-4 175 G GA
The way he plays you'd swear he has to be related to John Wall!. A highlight film waiting to happen.

8.Jamal Branch 6-3 175 G KS/TX
Great first second and thrid step. Blows by defenders as if they were standing still.

9.Mike Gilchrist 6-7 215 SF NJ
Slasher athlete supreme may end up as the best player in the class due to his work ethic and comp at St. Patricks.

10.Quincy Miller 6-8 190 SF NC
Considered by many as a future lottery pick with no ceiling sky is the limit for him.

11.Wayne Blackshear 6-5 200 SG IL
Hops, J, moves, + aggression... what else you need from a college shooting guard let alone a high schooler?!

12.Tony Wroten 6-5 190 G WA
Has O.J. Mayo hype surrounding him (overrated in my opinion). At best James Harden at worst Royal Ivey. Follows the trend of elite ballers from Washington.

13.Donivine Stewart 6-0 170 PG IL
One of best scorers in class! Averaged 25p as a fr; even put 32 on 2009 stud D.J. Richardson!!!

14.Cezar Guerrero 5-11 165 PG CA
Similar to Chris Jackson/Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (whom in his prime was pound for pound the best scorer I've ever seen, yes better than that guy lol). Best handles in class (along w/Malcolm Hill-Bey & Alvin "PJ" Boutte) and maybe nation!

15.Tracy Abrams 6-1 185 PG IL
Called by some the next great point from Chicago. Reminiscent of former Piston/Chicago legend!

16.Marquis Teague 6-1 170 PG IN
Mirror image of his brother ACC superstar Jeff Teague!

17.Malcolm Hill-Bey 5-9 165 PG IL
Whippet quick with handles so sick I call em' hand-ills! Jumper is very consistent. Second coming of Damon Stoudamire.

18.Mike Shaw 6-9 220 PF IL
Good post skills great passer. Resembles Tim Duncan in more ways than physical appearance.

19.James McAdoo 6-9 200 F VA
Can dribble and shoot just like his hall of fame father. Averaged 12ppg 8rpg and 3rpg as a fr!

20.Johnny Bryant 6-9 220 PF MS
A beast with a high motor makes him a tough cover. May be the next good big fella from the Sip (Mississippi).

20.Nick Jacobs 6-9 200 PF GA
The heir of 2009 All-American teammate Derrick Favors.

2012

1.Zach Peters 6-9 220 F TX
Physical specimen! Kyle Singler clone. Will most likely not be in this position as years pass and others height and strength catch up.

2.Winston Sheppard 6-6 180 SF TX
LeBron of class for right now (though it doesn't seem one can get any better)! Very Kevin Durantish. Great athlete, jumper, work ethic, and very advanced ball-handling for his size and age.

3.Kyle Anderson 6-6 180 PG NJ
Shaun Livingston clone! If we don't get to see Shaun, because of his unfortunate knee injury, we'll still see Shaun! When its all said and done will probably end up fighting for number 1 with Winston.

4.Justin Anderson 6-5 195 SW VA
Mr. Flamboyant. Has everything at an early age may cause harm to his work ethic.

5.T.J. Bell 6-6 190 SW IL
Julian Wrightish. May have most potential with competition (Chicago), bloodlines, & athleticism.

6.J’Mychal Reese 6-1 165 PG TX
Similar to Kenny Anderson. Even if he doesn't grow another inch will still probably make it to the league off work ethic alone!!!

7.Travis Britt 6-3 170 PG IL/IN
Has a chance to be one the premier point guards of the future with height and skill level.

8.D’Vaunte Smith-Rivera 6-2 190 G IN
Similar to Eric Gordon strong, athletic, handles, jumper.

9.Reggie Ragland 6-4 225 SW AL
Bo Jackson lol. Elite athlete to say the least will be all-state/nation in basketball, football, & baseball!!! Rumored to run a 4.5 40!!!!!

10.Perry Ellis 6-8 190 F KS
If he keeps it up he may be able to mimic recent Kansas St. superstar.
