What happened to UCLA?

they suck thats what happened. They recruited a lot of highly touted players, but one that they really needed left to the nba....JRUE HOLIDAY!!!! haha. Although one player should not account for their terrible play because for two years in a row they've had like 4-5 really good high school players come in. I think they need to grow as a team and will maybe surprise us at the end of the year

they will not suprise nobody...they have lost good players early to the draft every single year for the last 3 or 4 years and been lucky to have solid nba talent starters come back( collison and shipp). also, with a couple of medicore to good recruiting classes the last couple of years(besides jrue) and you get one of the worst bruin teams ive seen in my lifetime. fortunatly for them the pac 10 is down this year. ive loved the bruins since the tyus went coast to coast!!! and then b dizzle the hometown boy lit up pauley...

i hope they do surprise us matt, i think it all starts with ben howland and his offense that makes NJB look like mike d'antoni ran the joint. i cant imagine too many highly touted recruits signing up to play his style of defense if they dont get rewarded with a chance at offensive exposure.

no its not recruiting, they constantly are a top-5 recruiting team, maybe they just arent equivalating to the college level immediately, plus they lost a lot over the last 1-2 years in collison, holliday, mbah moute, and westbrook
